Team Overview

The B&M Retail team manages in-store pharmacy operations, diagnostics, and e-consultation services, ensuring top-tier customer experience while collaborating with Warehousing, Merchandising, and Marketing.


Key Responsibilities

Financial Performance and Sales:

  • Achieve daily sales targets for private label, BigBasket, generics, high-margin categories, and diagnostics.
  • Make prescription reminder calls and follow up with dormant/lapsed and high-value users.
  • Review the commitment register and ensure timely deliveries.

Omnichannel Order Management:

  • Maintain zero pushback on omnichannel orders.
  • Ensure 100% TAT (Turnaround Time) compliance in order processing.

Customer Service and Experience:

  • Greet customers with folded hands.
  • Address customer needs in-store and via calls/WhatsApp within 15–20 minutes.
  • Build strong customer relationships through professional service.
  • Manage home deliveries per business protocols.

Inventory Management and Accuracy:

  • Accurate daily inwarding of inventory.
  • Correct SKU putaway and daily removal of expired or non-moving items.
  • Record bounced items and perform physical SKU audits daily.

Compliance and Banking:

  • Maintain duplicate invoices, cold chain logs as per SOP.
  • Regularize manual bills and handle sales returns with approvals.
  • Prepare and validate daily sales reports and cash ledger during shift changes.
  • Respond promptly to store pharmacy emails.

Store Hygiene & Visual Merchandising:

  • Maintain store cleanliness and organize shelves as per SOP.
  • Place discount tags and correctly display monetized brands.

Marketing and Promotions:

  • Set up marketing collaterals and standees.
  • Participate in campaigns and door-to-door promotional activities.
  • Inform customers about ongoing offers and services.


Qualifications & Skills Required

  • Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Pharmacy with 1-3 years experience.
  • Valid State Pharmacy Council registration.
  • Strong customer service and communication skills.
  • Computer proficiency and knowledge of pharmacy software.
  • Detail-oriented, multitasker, and ethical in conduct.
